Our Philosophy
Steel Trap embraces the notion that test preparation—when done the right way—doesn’t have to be torturously boring. We endeavor to get to know our students, so that we have dynamic, engaging sessions with them. We also understand that test prep is a fluid, ever-changing process, and we are constantly re-assessing our strategies and study plans. Since no two students learn in exactly the same way or have the same rate of progress, we adapt our program to fit individual needs.
PROGRAM METHODOLOGY
Individual or Small Group Instruction
After completing the dual diagnostic, students hone their skills in either individual or small group lessons that target specific areas of need.
Proctored Practice Exams From the start of the process until the days leading up to test day, students take practice exams under authentic test conditions. We analyze each practice exam with a rigorous, goal-oriented approach to measure student progress and customize instructional strategies.
Innovative Teaching Approach
